Words of Light and Hope for Trinity 14, Sunday 5th September 

I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will
remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. Ezekiel 36 26

Eternal God.
In your Son Jesus Christ
You reveal your love for the world,
And by the grace of the Holy Spirit

You give us the strength to share His mission among our

neighbours and friends in this benefice:
Help us to grow in proclaiming your
Good news, drawing others to know you,
Serving our communities,
Promoting justice and peace
And sustaining the well-being
Of the life of the earth

Through the same Jesus Christ our Lord Amen

I remind myself that, as I sit here now,
God is gazing on me with love and holding me in being.
I pause for a moment and think of this.

Lord, guide me always
to do your holy will

knowing that your strength
will carry me through
Life is busy Lord

Often my best intentions are left undone.
But I know that you are with me in all I say and do,

And in everyone I meet with daily..
Words don’t come easily to me, Lord.

Look into my heart
and see my longing for peace.
Watch over me, Lord.

I know that you are always by my side. Sacred Space
